The Beginning
Born in Mexico
My story began in Mexico, where my culture, family, and heritage first shaped who I am.
A New Home
Moved to Minnesota
I moved to Minnesota at five years old and grew up embracing both my Mexican roots and the community that became home.
Education
University of St. Thomas
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and my master’s degree in Data Science.
The Game
Fell in love with golf
Golf became a place for challenge, confidence, friendship, and connection.
The Idea
Designed the first collection
I created apparel that felt authentic to both the game and our culture.

I'm Gabriel Rodriguez, founder of Quetzalcoatl Golf Co.
I was born in Mexico and moved to Minnesota when I was five years old. Growing up, I learned to embrace both cultures—my Mexican heritage and the opportunities that shaped my life in the United States.
After earning my bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and my master's degree in Data Science from the University of St. Thomas, I discovered golf. I quickly fell in love with the game, but I also noticed something missing: I rarely saw my culture represented on the course.
That realization became Quetzalcoatl Golf Co.

Quetzalcoatl Golf Co. was founded in May 2025 to bring greater representation, pride, and culture to the golf course.
Inspired by Mexican heritage, every collection is designed to honor where we come from while creating space for the next generation of golfers.
From apparel to community events and the upcoming Latino Golf Club of MN, our mission is to help more people feel represented, welcomed, and connected through the game.
